NetDocuments Email Management Service is an extended module for capturing and archiving emails in
a single, global repository along with an organization's documents. EMS is an innovative approach to
synchronizing emails from Microsoft Outlook, without requiring invasive integration software injected into the
email system; and without requiring network connectivity as other document management systems do.
EMS allows users to continue working in their email as they normally do by simply dragging and dropping
their emails from their inbox to their standard Outlook or PST folders. Immediately these emails are captured
and archived in your single NetDocuments repository along with your documents and other files, organized
and grouped by project, matter or customer.

Capture Emails as records on a daily, ongoing basis as determined and controlled by users, thus
avoiding capturing spam and irrelevant emails. The NetDocuments EMS Agent runs on the workstation
monitoring your Outlook folders and will automatically mirror the folders and contained emails to a
corresponding set of online folders in NetDocuments. Now that they are stored in their native MSG format,
these emails can be searched, grouped into project or matter related workspaces and maintained as records.
