The ndConnect API documentation provides detailed explanations of the methods that comprise the SOAP API including authentication, the directory service for the creation and modification of user accounts and groups, and the storage services relating to storage objects such as cabinets, folders and categories. Developers can quickly leverage web services and software that is delivered as a service to speed and simplify application integration and creation.

NetDocuments Client API Documentation
The NetDocuments Client API is implemented as a COM component. It can be accessed from any programming language that supports COM method calls. A dual interface is provided, so the API can be called using either early (compile time) binding or late (run time) binding. This API is accessed from a client workstation. This API should not be confused with the NetDocuments Server-based SOAP API, which is accessed on the NetDocuments server via HTTP calls. The NetDocuments Client API is installed automatically along with the neRemoteDoc ActiveX control. This ActiveX control is installed on a workstation the first time a user accesses a document or NetBinder in NetDocuments.
