Am Law 100 Ranked Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati Transitions to the Cloud with NetDocuments

Premier technology and life sciences law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati (WSGR) has selected the NetDocuments' platform as a key step in the firm’s ongoing strategy to move their entire technology stack to a cloud-based model.

NetDocuments announces, today, that premier technology and life sciences law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati (WSGR) has selected the company’s platform as a key step in the firm’s ongoing strategy to move their entire technology stack to a cloud-based model.

“With our move to the cloud, we envisioned taking on a DMS that does much more than just document and email management,” said Michael Lucas, Chief Information Officer, WSGR. “We were on the search for an end-to-end client file management solution.”

WSGR’s vision of a fully integrated client file management system will be realized with their implementation of NetDocuments, ndMail, and ndOCR early next year.

“We are honored to welcome WSGR to the NetDocuments platform as they have been advising the world’s most innovative and progressive technology corporations for more than half a century,” said Alvin Tedjamulia, CTO, NetDocuments. “WSGR’s transition to our platform highlights the legal industry’s trend to embrace technology with true multi-tenant cloud architecture and further signifies NetDocuments’ proven ability to meet the sophisticated content management, security, governance and collaboration needs of the legal industry.”

Prior to their selection of a cloud-based platform, WSGR’s attorneys were turning to a myriad of different sources to save and manage their client files causing the firm unnecessary maintenance costs and governance challenges.

NetDocuments presented WSGR with a platform that provides users a centralized location to manage the entire lifecycle of their content and one that’s accessible to their attorneys from any device, in any location.

“The NetDocuments platform offers a robust suite of products that will allow us to be well integrated with all of the necessary technologies available to us,” said Lucas. “It will hopefully eliminate the number of disparate systems our employees have to work from.”

NetDocuments has spent two decades providing its customers with the safe, ready, and proven solutions necessary to improve workplace productivity and ensure optimal security and governance of firm documents, emails and client information.
