In case you haven’t heard, we’re kind of awesome. 😊 NetDocuments was recently recognized as one of Utah’s 2021 Top Workplaces!

Over 33,000 employees across the state were surveyed in The Salt Lake Tribune’s eighth year ranking employers. A record 75% of NetDocuments employees provided feedback, where response rates typically range from 30-40%. Areas of focus covered in the survey included:

  • Alignment: Where the company is headed, its values, cooperation, and meeting effectiveness
  • Coaching: Managers care about concerns, are helpful, and encourage employee development
  • Connection: Employees feel appreciated, informed, work is meaningful, and reaching full potential
  • Engagement: Productivity, retention, and recruiting
  • Leadership: Confidence in company leaders
  • Performance: Execution, open-mindedness, and innovation
  • The Basics: Pay, benefits, work/life flexibility, training, and expectations

As Top Workplaces puts it on their website: “Creating a Top Workplace is about more than offering great benefits and vacation time. It’s about organizational health. Employees want to align with the company’s vision, be challenged by a high-performance culture, and feel that they are valued and that their voices are heard.”

National Recognition

NetDocuments was also honored nationally in multiple categories:

  • Compensation
  • Top Managers
  • Remote Work

Receiving accolades for top compensation came from high ratings when employees were asked about basic needs and “fair pay for work.” Our top managers recognition is particularly important to our culture and fostering an environment where employees feel their managers genuinely care about their concerns, help them to learn, and encourage them to grow. The award for remote work highlights the success NetDocuments has had addressing work from home scenarios during the pandemic and beyond.

Strong Company Values

After the dust settled, Top Workplaces revealed that they couldn’t believe how many comments our employees shared. This reflects our unique culture of openness and reinforces the strength of our Company Values, which include:

  • Every interaction matters
  • Ownership drives responsibility
  • Curiosity to explore new things
  • Our customers’ success is our success
  • We win together

As adoption of NetDocuments’ cloud platform continues to accelerate among law firms, corporations, and government entities globally, the NetDocuments HR Team is poised to grow the company with the brightest minds. "We are so proud of our entire employee base and the true family environment they have managed to create, whether that’s collaborating remotely as we all have now or slowly transition back to the office," noted Claudia Reese, NetDocuments VP of Human Resources. "These recent ‘Top Places to Work’ awards are a great recognition of our extremely talented and engaged employees."
