Intelligent DMS supports people-first law firm’s transformation strategy, elevates efficiency, client journeys and employee experience

London, UK – 17 September 2025 – NetDocuments, the world’s leading cloud-based intelligent document management system (DMS) for legal professionals, has signed an expanded agreement with Howes Percival, an award-winning full-service UK law firm. As part of the firm’s business transformation strategy, Howes Percival will leverage NetDocuments to elevate workflow automation and further increase collaboration across the firm.

Howes Percival was praised for ‘world-class’ levels of workplace engagement in the latest Best Companies to Work For report, and a people-centric culture has informed its transformation strategy. Expanding on their five-year relationship with NetDocuments will allow the firm’s team of more than 250 partners and fee earners to focus on doing their best work and driving client service.

Howes Percival will use NetDocuments’ document automation capabilities across the firm’s templates and processes. This will enable teams to deliver superior legal services faster; for instance, cutting the time to draft power of attorney documents from three hours to just 30 minutes. Additionally, NetDocuments tight integration with Microsoft Teams will support secure client and third-party collaboration on key documents.

“Our employees want tools that are simple to use, foster collaboration, and automate routine tasks, freeing them to apply their legal expertise where it matters most,” said Lee Killner, IT Director at Howes Percival. “Too often, IT teams default to buying new software, creating complexity and distracting from client service. With our new strategy, we’ve taken a step back to lay firm foundations with a tighter stack of core applications. NetDocuments is central to this approach – driving innovation and freeing up our people to deliver real value, ultimately enhancing the service our clients receive.”

“It’s great to see firms such as Howes Percival placing our intelligent DMS at the heart of their tech strategies,” said Kerri Dearing, VP of International Business at NetDocuments. “By driving innovation through the apps legal professionals use every day, law firms can be confident they are empowering their teams to do their best work. We look forward to working closely with Howes Percival as its automation journey evolves.”
